Understanding and switching environments

 

Note: If the switch button is not visible, you may have only one environment or multiple accounts. Sign out and in again with the correct account or contact community management or technical support for assistance.

Platforms: Desktop, iOS, Android

Context: An 'environment' in Chainels refers to the specific community or company you are interacting with. You might have multiple environments if:

  • You're a member of multiple communities.
  • You represent multiple companies.
  • You manage multiple communities.

Switching Environments:

  • Desktop: Click the switch-button in the menu at the top. A pop-up will show all environments. Choose the one you need.
  • iOS: Select 'More' at the bottom-right, then the switch-button at the top. Choose from the pop-up.
  • Android: Tap the menu icon top left, then the switch-button. Select the desired environment from the pop-up.
