How to add and manage favourite groups

 

Managing favourite groups within the platform is a simple way to organise and quickly access essential member groups. Follow the steps below to add a group and set it as a favourite in your community.

Adding a Group

  1. Navigate to Groups

    • Go to "Management" and select "Groups" from the side menu.
  2. Create a New Group

    • Click on the "+ Add group" button to create a new group.
  3. Fill in Group Information

    • Enter the necessary information for your group.
  • Important: Make sure to uncheck the option "Distribution list (only the community managers can send messages to this group)" to ensure the group is visible in the favourite groups list.

4. Select Group Members

    • Choose the members you want to include in this group.
    • Click Save

Adding a Group to Favourites

  1. Go to Members

    • Navigate to "Members". Depending on your community setup, this may be found under "Services" or "Discover" > "Members".
  2. Select Groups as Favourites

    • Click on the gear-button (settings icon) to choose and mark the groups you wish to set as favourites.

This will ensure that your selected groups are easily accessible on the "Members" page.
